A local 11 a-side competition tailored for our Masters players as preparation for team selection for the National Masters Tournament in February.

Wellington Masters Community

The Wellington Masters Community has a rich tradition of competitive hockey and social occasions for those that meet the age requirements.

The local Wellington Masters Competition is loosely club based, but not all groups are specifically affiliated with clubs, so come give Masters Hockey a go! Our Masters 11-a-side hockey competition for players aged 33 and over for both Men and Women.

Competition Information

2025 Season Dates: 23 October - 27 November, 2025

Turf Venues: NHS, Fraser and Maidstone (TBC with Wairarapa team entries)

Playing Days: Thursdays

Game Times: 6:45pm, 7:45pm and 8:45pm

Age: Anyone 33 and over or turning 33 before the 31st December 2025*

Cost: TBC

* Dispensation can be requested for Goal keepers if none are available.

Competition Format

The format of the competition will be structured based on the number of team entries. Teams need to be registered by Thursday 16th October, with the draw published by 5.00pm Monday 20th October 2025.
